My version of a simple and delicious recipe for home-made ponzu sauce, so long as you can find shaved bonito (readily available in most Asian markets).
4 tbsp. mirin
1/2 cup light soy sauce
1 tbsp. regular soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup shaved bonito
Combine all ingredients and let steep in the frig for 12 hours over overnight. Keeps for 2 weeks.
